LG LS860 Leaked Picture

The Rumor LG will spend one more product, It’s too soon to proclaim that the QWERTY Android phone is making a comeback, especially with a certain Taiwanese manufacturer that has given up on QWERTY phones. But we’ve seen a couple of them popping up as of late, donning the increasingly out of fashion slide-out keyboard. That’s wonderful news for the (still) many folks that like to hear the satisfying click and clack sounds of a physical keyboard on their phones.

The latest QWERTY Android phone that will be coming your way soon is the LG LS860, and from what we’ve seen so far, it’s a surprisingly powerful device. A leaked picture of the LG LS860, also known by its Cayenne codename, was uncovered by Brief Mobile. Generously, the leak also comes with some specs, to spare us from playing too much of the guessing game.

The LG LS860 will be an LTE phone that boasts a 4-inch IPS WVGA display, and a dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon S3 processor. The inclusion of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich makes it an even more worthy phone. The main attraction of the LG LS860 is without doubt its 5-row QWERTY keyboard, a feature that will be welcomed by heavy-texters, since it gives easy access to numbers – located on the top row — without the need to press any function keys.

Apart from the blurrycam pic and the specs above, there’s still not much information about the LG LS860 and its availability. The phone is expected to come to Sprint, so you’ll be able to take advantage of the carrier’s LTE roll out, which will hit big cities like Atlanta, Baltimore, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City and San Antonio around June.

The look of the LG LS860 resembles the recently released LG Viper 4G LTE on Sprint, which has similar specs as the phone. Seeing that the LG Viper 4G LTE is offered for $99 with a contract, it should give you a ballpark figure of the price that the LG LS860 will debut at.

As we wait for more information about the LG LS860 (and hoping that the leak will materialize into something tangible in the near future), a new QWERTY phone has been released for AT&T’s GoPhone prepaid service, the Samsung Galaxy Appeal. So that can be an option as well.

Are you looking forward to the LG LS860 and its relatively high-end specs?
