Dead Trigger comming in June, first-zombie shooting at its finest.

Want to survive the looming Zombie apocalypse? Future professional zombie hunters can now practice the skills of eradicating the undead on their Android devices, with the upcoming first-person shooter game, the Dead Trigger. Developed by the same team that brought you the blockbuster action game Shadowgun THD, we can expect the same high level visual quality and immersive gameplay.

Dead Trigger puts gamers in a world where a strange infection has brought civilization to a halt, with billions of people dead and many turned into zombies. As one of the few remaining survivors, shooting and blasting those bad boys is the only way to stop becoming an entrée for the hordes of zombies (and to stay alive for another day). But it’s not all guns and bombs here, because Dead Trigger also packs an engaging storyline that will gradually reveal itself as you get further into the game.

Looking at the trailer, which compares the regular Android version with the Tegra 3-optimized one, the latter does have more visually rich backdrops and lush graphics. The use of motion captured animations take the realism level up a notch, which is also enhanced by the dynamic fog, lighting, and water effects. The production quality in both versions is a testament at how far gaming experience on Android has come since the early days.

Aside from the issue of graphics, CEO of MADFINGER Games, Marek Rabas, said that they are working hard on the gameplay mechanics as well. While we hope that the on-screen buttons will be intuitive enough, the game does support the use of game controllers.

The Dead Trigger will be released at the end of the month on Google Play and NVIDIA TegraZone.
